Why should I tweet?
If a potential reader/follower sees you actively posting on twitter with humorous, insightful blurbs, they'll be more likely to check your profile page for a home site. If you set your home site as your article collection on Statbonus.com, or your personal About The Author section, your articles will be easier to find.
When should I tweet?
Statistically, more people check twitter between 5pm and 11pm Pacific on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Instead of a dozen tweets throughout the day, try 2-3 tweets at key times. You can also use buffer.com to set tweets into a queue, that way you never miss a post.
Tips for Twitter Set up a buffer. Tweet about similar subjects to your article posts. Look up hashtags before you use them, because the hashtag will determine how many potential viewers your joke will reach. And direct-link to your article whenever possible.
